Drogheda and East Meath Fianna Fáil Councillor Stephen McKee has been informed by Meath County Council that road resurfacing works will finally take place in the coming weeks in Ard Rí, Drogheda.
McKee stated; ‘Following extensive lobbying I made on behalf of Ard Ri residents, capital funding was made available by Meath County Council to address the poor condition of the roads within Ard Rí.
“I am now told that road resurfacing work will take place through the estate over the coming weeks.
“I was pleased to have successfully lobbied for the road resurfacing work carried out in neighbouring Rosevale a few years ago so this is good news for Ard Rí Residents.
“I will keep the pressure on to ensure all necessary works are included as part of the scheme” said McKee.
