Louth Volunteer Centre have teamed up with Louth County Council, Failte Ireland, Love Drogheda and other stakeholders and are looking for volunteers to help support the festival to help deliver “Lú – Drogheda Festival of Light”.
This festival promises to be an amazing visual, sound and family experience that will focus on animating sites at The Old Abbey (Narrow West Street), St Peters Church (West Street) and Laurence’s Gate by retelling the stories of some of our mythological heroes and heroines.
Volunteers will be needed to help steward the event and provide information to people in attendance.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for people to get involved in their community and support a local event, while having some fun at the same time” says Olivia Conlon, Volunteer Development Officer with Louth Volunteer Centre.
The festival is taking place from Friday the 28th of October to Saturday the 5th of November (excluding November 1st).
Volunteers will be need from 5:45pm to 10:30pm. Anyone interested in registering for this role can do so by clicking HERE.
