Win the chance to help Santa switch on Drogheda’s Christmas lights

The best news so far this year is that Santa is visiting Drogheda on Friday of next week. He’s bringing lots of festive friends with him and he’s also giving three lucky children the chance to switch on the town’s Christmas lights!

To be in with a chance of helping Santa turn on the Christmas Lights on Friday the 18th of November you need to get your colouring pencils out because Santa’s little helpers in Drogheda are running a competition to select three lucky winners (under 6, under 8 and under 12).

So, get your Christmas Jumpers and Hats on, wear two pairs of socks (or three if you’ve got really cold feet!), wrap up warm and come to Drogheda to get in the Christmas Spirit on Friday the 18th of November with live performances commencing at 6.00 pm.

It promises to a fun filled evening for all the family with lots of free activities including balloon modelling, face painting, carol singing, DJ disco roadshow and some of your favourite cartoon characters mingling with all the visitors!

To be in with a chance to win, download the special Christmas poster here, or pick up an entry from Drogheda Library on Stockwell Street or the Drogheda Credit Union.

All submissions must be returned to Drogheda Library, Drogheda Credit Union or the Love Drogheda office in Meatmarket Lane before Wednesday the 16th of November.

Happy Colouring!!
