Registration open for Drogs/LMETB United Football Administration course

Registration for the second year of the LMETB/Drogheda United Football Administration Diploma course which promises to open doors and create opportunities in football, sports and business is underway.

The course starts in 3 weeks and finishes in August 2023 and, like last year, there will be opportunities to visit other football clubs in Europe during the year.

It is QQI 4 and VTCT Level 2 – with modules in business admin, digital marketing, event planning, IT skills, career planning, football coaching and more.

The course caters for young people, male and female, in the 17-35 age bracket who are currently in receipt of social welfare (or eligible) with the aim of providing them with further educational and employment opportunities.

Last year participants visited Everton’s Asmir Begovic’s private Goalkeeping Academy (ABGK1) and had study visits/work experience at Feyenoord FC in Rotterdam and Everton FC in Liverpool.

One of last year’s course graduates currently works for Begovic, as a direct result of the course he’s completed and an example of the types of connections the students can benefit from while on the course, thanks to our passionate tutors. For course content and other information and registration form CLICK HERE
