Macra Na Feirme is a voluntary rural youth organisation for people aged 17 to 35 across Ireland. There are currently five active clubs within Louth – Termonfeckin, Tullyallen, Togher, Stabannon and Kilcurry.
On Thursday 12th of October, the Stabannon Macra club will be hosting an information night in the Parnell Bar Stabannon from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
There are numerous benefits from joining a Macra club (see poster below) from a social aspect you get to meet people with similar interests.
There are skill and training opportunities as well as the chance to take part in competitions ranging from bowling, gaelic and soccer, welding and even cattle stock judging.
So come along to our information night to meet our current club members and find out about all the fun we have. Our recent Macra Mart event was a huge success in the Lisdoo Bar and Restaurant Dundalk and we’re extremely looking forward to our up and coming New Year’s Eve Ball.
