The deadline for nominations for the Louth Volunteer Leader Awards has been extended to midnight on this coming Monday, October the 23rd.
This will be the last chance to nominate a volunteer leader in your community and recognise them for the incredible work they do organising, managing and supporting volunteers.
“The awards are a great opportunity to recognise volunteer leaders, so much work goes on behind the scenes when it comes to volunteer management that often goes unseen” said Olivia Conlon Volunteer Development Officer with Louth Volunteer Centre.
“This is a chance to not only recognise that work but shine a spotlight on and thank the incredible people that do it”
“Do you know someone in your community that organises the local clean up? Makes sure there is enough volunteers for match day? Checks in with the volunteer at the end of their shifts? Then nominate them now and show your appreciation.
All nominees will receive a thank you card and certificate from Louth Volunteer Centre and they along with the person who nominated them will be invited to a celebratory event on the 6th of November in line with international volunteer management day in O’ Connells GAA club in Castlebellingham.
