Popular Drogheda Author Anthony Matthews’ third publication ‘More Wonderful Memories’ will be launched at a special function taking place from 5.30 to 7.30 this coming Friday, Friday 15th November, at Drogheda Museum, Millmount.
The culmination of more than two years work, the collection of poems and small stories reflects upon many of the loved ones lost in the past few years.
Additionally, some of the great local sporting achievements will feature. Also, many of Anthony’s personal social reflections are addressed with humour, social inclusion, sadness and joy.
The perfect Christmas Stocking Filler, once again Anthony has ensured that his book is available to all, by keeping the cost at just €12.
More than 700 copies have been pre-ordered many of which will go to the diaspora in America, New Zealand, Australia, Scotland, England, Wales and Canada. Some of the profits will go to The Drogheda Women & Children’s Refuge Centre.
