Ella Doyle wins Ace AC’s Trainer of the Week Award

The youngest members of Ace AC are part of the club’s Green Training Group, where the club’s athletes start their athletics journey. Each week, the Green Group coaches led by Siobhan Finerty, Debbie Lucey and Colin McHugh recognise one standout performer with the coveted “Trainer of the Week” award.

This week, the honor went to 9 year old Ella Doyle (pictured above), who has shown remarkable progress and dedication in recent months. Ella also competed impressively at both the Louth and Leinster Cross Country Championships and has demonstrated a strong work ethic and passion for the sport. Ella was presented her medal by u17 ace AC athlete Sholah Lawernce.

Winning the Trainer of the Week isn’t just about talent; it requires commitment. Ella earned the award by attending all three weekly training sessions while consistently putting in her best effort.

Ace AC’s Training sessions for all ages take place on:

Tuesdays at 6:30 pm at St. Olivers, Thursdays at 6:00 pm at Lourdes Stadium and Saturdays at 10:00 am at Oldbridge.

The club warmly welcomes new members to come along to a session and give athletics a try!

Meanwhile several Ace AC athletes ran for their various schools in the annual St Joseph’s Cross Country with Farrah Smith, Daniel Hanley, Caoimhe Carolan, Alphie Marron, Tadgh Forde Dunne and Samuel Plunkett being a few of the better performers.
