Drogheda Pride Festival 2017

What's On

The fabulous Paul Ryder from the Ringmaster of Drag Race who will host Drogheda Pride Festival this year. It's going to be amazing!

The 2017 Drogheda Pride Festival will take place over the weekend of 11th -13th August following an opening ceremony at midday in Millmount on Friday 11th which will include the raising the Pride rainbow flag.

Then it’s down to The Barbican centre for a Family FUN DAY from 1.00 pm to 4.00pm (This event is free to attend).

Warming up with Pride begins at The Weavers Bar from 8.00 pm till late with live band, DJ 8pm. 

Saturday August 12th

Saturday is the main day of the Drogheda Pride and, like all great days, it’s best to start with a great breakfast which gets underway with pride breakfast at Stockwell artisan foods, Stockwell Street from 10am to 12 noon.

Promotion awareness of Drogheda LGBTQ Group in different locations around West Street.

Main event kicking off at 8pm in McHughs Venue with ringmaster of Drag Race the fabulous Paul Ryder. 

Drag queen Sophia Harte on stage. 

DJ Caroline Gormley on the decks till late. 

Music by Matthew Nolan. 

This year’s Drogheda Pride Festival takes the theme of inclusion in the community.


Sunday August 13th 

Wind down with a BBQ in Odd Mollies/ Clarke's Bar from 8.30pm - Come along for music BBQ and the banter.
