Here’s a special treat for lovers of good Jazz and great beer.

As part of Indie Beer Week, Boyne Brewhouse has organised an Open House at the brewery with jazz guitar and food on Sat 24th June between 12pm - 6pm – all for a tenner.

A brewery tour and a pint and also the chance to enjoy some world class Jazz from Café Orchestra. We have Gourmet Street Pizza serving delicious pizza too. Brewery tours on the hour, every hour.

Brewery tour price of €10 includes brewer led brewery tour, craft beer tasting and one pint of Boyne Brewhouse craft beer of your choice.

Café Orchestra’s founder, Drazen Derek, is a Croatian born guitar virtuoso. He has played with The Chieftains, Sinead O’Connor, Ronnie Wood, Hothouse Flowers, Emotional Fish, BBC Concert Orchestra, Swedish Radio Orchestra, Jools Holland, Louis Stewart, Harry Allen and the RTE Concert Orchestra.

Drazen has toured extensively throughout Europe and South America, performing at Rio Jazz Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Paris Jazz Colours Festival. Drazen was also the featured soloist with Three Tenors on their European tour. Known for his versatility, he records, writes and performs regularly in Ireland and abroad.

CAFÉ ORCHESTRA received an Oscar nomination for music on Neil Jordan’s movie, Michael Collins.
