A call has gone out for 18-25 year-olds to submit photos that they think reflect life for young people in Ireland today for possible inclusion in an online exhibition.
The organisers, the Social Sciences Committee of the Royal Irish Academy no less, want photo submissions from Ireland’s 18-25 year olds to understand what they consider to have been significant in influencing their lives.
‘Snap that: Life through the lens of Ireland’s 18- to 25-year-olds’ is for Ireland’s 18-25-year olds to demonstrate the lived experience of young adults from their own perspective.

The aim is to commence a dialogue, with young adults setting the agenda, to inform the debate on how policy might improve the lives of this age group.
The exhibition will also be a valuable record of life in early adulthood for this generation at a particularly turbulent time in history.
Photography is a creative way to express concepts that might be mre difficult in another visual medium. All you need is a camera/camera phone, an internet connection, ideas and creativity.
