Drogheda’s Wolfe Tones GFC will be celebrating 100 years of Gaelic sport next year and, to mark the occasion, they are releasing a commemorative jersey adorned with the names of their supporters.
Obviously this is a momentous year for the club and they are offering Gaels the opportunity to be part of the celebrations and have themselves immortalised within the club by having their name embroidered on the commemorative jersey.
For a fee of just €50 members, friends and businesses can have their name embroidered onto the 100 year commemorative jersey, which will be worn by the clubs men's senior team for the 2022 season and also be put on display within the clubhouse for the next 100 years.
The club is asking all current and former players, members, and also all local businesses to support them by purchasing a spot for their name and become a part of history.

Some of the family names to be etched onto the jersey include the Fannings of Beamore, Kellys of Marian Park, Reillys of Marian Park, Daltons of Rosevale and Kellys of the Oaks.
All proceeds from the jersey will be put towards the construction of the club’s community centre which just received planning permission in early 2021.
