Irish Water has warned that Drogheda Town, Termonfeckin, Clogherhead and surrounding areas may experience low water pressure on Tuesday 24 November between 10:00am and 1:00pm.
This due to maintenance works at Donore reservoir to safeguard the water supply for customers in South Louth.
Following the completion of works it may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
“Irish Water and Meath County Council understands the inconvenience caused when maintenance works occur and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential works and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Meath County Council regret any inconvenience caused and will make every effort to complete these works as quickly as possible and to minimise any potential impact on customers” a spokesperson said.
