Irish Water has just issued the following statement in regard to a burst water main at Donore Road:
Irish Water is working in partnership with Louth County Council to repair a burst water main impacting Donore and surrounding areas.
Crews are working to repair the water main as quickly and as safely as possible. The repair is expected to be completed today, however, it may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers as the network refills.
Customers may be impacted by disruption to their water supply while the repair is underway but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
