Cpuncillor Sharon Tolan.
East Meath Fine Gael Councillor, and Local Election candidate, Sharon Tolan has today welcomed the appointment of architects Robin Lee Architecture to design a new building at the entrance to Bettystown Beach.
Meath County Council purchased these buildings following intense lobbying by Cllr Tolan for better facilities for beach users. Subsequently a Design Competition was launched and Robin Lee Architecture succeeded in securing that contract.
“I am absolutely delighted to have finally met the architects appointed to design our new beach building at the entrance to Bettystown Beach” Tolan said.
“Robin Lee Architecture have a very impressive portfolio of projects that they have delivered in Ireland and the UK. They have worked with many similar organisations including Wexford County Council and Cambridge University, and I have no doubt they will deliver an impressive project for us here in East Meath.

“I am so looking forward to working with them on this project, engaging in public consultation, for the remainder of my term and if re-elected in May, I would be delighted to continue this work to deliver a facility that we can all be proud of.”
