Two winners from the regional finalists will go on to compete in the all-island final of the competition which will take place on Thursday 22nd November in Belfast.

Colin Guilfoyle of Nebula told Drogheda Life that they were delighted to get to the finals of the competition and happy to see that the judges also found theirplan and product worthy of being in the final three for Connaught and Leinster.

“Seedcorn is a very prestigious competition as it’s judged by the investment industry and only companies that have passed a rigorous process get to the finals" he said.

“For me it was also great to see the work of our team recognised as we’re only a small company and, while I think the world of them, it’s always nice for us to be recognised by others outside the company.

“Winning Seedcorn would be a great stamp of approval for us and our product Instant BSI which we’re very excited about and hoping to launch next month. Obviously the €20k prize would also be wonderful!

“Given the focus on investors that this competition has, it also has served to put us on their radar for future fund raising and investment plans.

“Instant BSI will be our first move into the SaaS space (software as a service) and also the aviation market. We feel we have a product that addresses a very specific need and have partnered up with some of the leaders in this space to ensure we’ve a product that fits the market.

“Aviation in Ireland is huge with over 50% of the worlds leased fleet registered here we feel it’s important that we leverage that huge market and build up a suite of tools that fits these companies.”
