The Nualas, BFRRS Open Day, steam trains and folk music this weekend

The Nualas are at the Droicehead Arts Centre on Saturday night.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend you’ve got quite a choice. There’s Comedy with The Nualas in the Droichead Arts Centre on Saturday (15th) and the Boyne Fisherman’s Rescue & Recovery Service Open Day is on Sunday, it’s always a good day out and a chance for you to support this vital service.

The Johnston’s Folk Festival http://thejohnstonsfolkfest.com/?page_id=116 takes place in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland all weekend featuring Kieran Goss on Friday 14th, Eugene Gallagher on Saturday 15th while on Sunday 16th there’s an open air concert with local musicians.

Also on Sunday are the ever- popular Steam Train Excursions run by the Rail Preservation Society - always a big hit with families
