Section 75 Roads Act, 1993

(Roads Regulations 1994)

Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to close the R899 Greenhills villa’s Drogheda between Cord Road and L2307 Greenhills (Beaulieu Mews) to vehicular traffic to facilitate Irish Water constructing a new foul sewer.                                                                                              

The extent of the road closure will be from the junction of L2307 Greenhills (Beaulieu Mews) to the junction with Cord Road. 

The road closure will be from 8.00hrs on Monday 20th March 2023 to 17.00hrs on Friday 19^th May 2023. 

Local and emergency access will be maintained at all times. 

Diversions for traffic will be via L2307 Greenhills (Beaulieu Mews), Newtown Link Road, Newfoundwell Road and Bredin Street. OR alternatively R167 North Strand Road, Constitution Hill, Francis Street, Scarlet Street and Bredin Street.

Any person who wishes to object to any of the closures should lodge an objection in writing (envelope clearly marked “Road Closure Objection”) to the undersigned not later than 12 noon on 16^th March 2023.
