The Founder and CEO of the Drogheda-based Digital Marketing Agency Sixtwo Digital, Colm Hanratty, has been awarded the All-Ireland Business Foundation’s 2024 Digital Business Person of the Year award and Sixtwo Digital itself has received a Business All-Star award for the second year running.

Announcing the news of Sixtwo Digital’s achievement, Deputy Chair of AIBF’s Adjudication Board, Kieran Ring, said:This is Colm's second year being named a Business All-Star, a remarkable achievement.

"Colm Hanratty is not only a well-organised and highly motivated individual but also possesses excellent communication skills that enable him to leverage digital marketing effectively for generating revenue, increasing brand awareness, executing marketing initiatives, driving customer retention, and overall brand development. His strategic vision and passion for all things digital have allowed him to create innovative and impactful strategies that drive traffic and ultimately increase conversions for his clients.”

Reacting to the news of his company’s achievement, Colm Hanratty said: “This accreditation is a reflection of our hard work, expertise and commitment to ensuring our clients receive the best service possible. The recognition is also fitting as we are celebrating 10 years in business.”

Colm’s journey in the digital marketing industry spans over a decade. With a background encompassing over 20 years in content marketing and over 16 years in social media marketing, his knowledge and skills have propelled him to the pinnacle of the industry.

Son of Thomas Hanratty, formerly of Hanratty’s Pub on Scarlet Street, Colm's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Sixtwo Digital in 2013. His vision and passion for all things digital have allowed him to create innovative and impactful strategies, driving traffic and increasing conversions for his clients.

His expertise also extends into various areas, including social media marketing, email marketing, brand building, video production, copywriting, blogging, and podcasting.

Kapil Khanna, the Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation, an autonomous national accreditation body tasked with enterprise development and the promotion of Best-in-Class in Irish business, added:

The accreditation, which is now held by over 650 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
