The Sinn Féin party leadership is to host a meeting on Tuesday 14th at 7.30pm in the Crowne Plaza hotel following the restoration of the Assembly at Stormont.

General Election candidate Councillor Ruairí Ó Murchú said:  ”Over recent days Sinn Féin played a major role in getting the Assembly in the north up and running once again.

”The Sinn Féin leadership in Louth is hosting a meeting in the Crown Plaza Dundalk tomorrow night, Tuesday 14th January at 7.30pm.

”This will be an opportunity for local activists to discuss the new agreement and the general election which could be held here in a matter of weeks.

“I know that this will be a well-attended meeting, Sinn Féin activists are up for the campaign ahead.

“This election is the people’s opportunity to say ‘enough is enough’. People are entitled to housing, healthcare and to live in safe communities, I want to help deliver those things as a TD for Louth.”
