Sabrina and Valerie Sherlock, the Drogheda sisters behind The Marcy Hotel, Nellys Bar and Eden in Drogheda, will open their latest venture, a café called Navy in Bettystown tomorrow, Thursday September 26th, in the charming beachside cottage that has until recently been trading as Relish Café.

The enterprising sisters are no strangers to the hospitality industry, and their latest venture will continue to offer delicious breakfast, light bites & lunch and fabulous coffee and pastries that this waterfront café is infamous for. The girls are excited to bring their own new creations to compliment the firm favourites.   It will mark the dawn of a new era for the much-visited venue.

Speaking about the launch of the new café, proprietor Sabrina Sherlock said, “We are extremely excited to be opening our latest venture here in Bettystown, Co. Meath. As a location, it’s hard to think of a nicer place to enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat, with the café overlooking Bettystown Beach and the Irish Sea.”

Valerie Sherlock added “We are looking forward to bringing something new to the people of East Meath and beyond. We are delighted to be working alongside many of the Relish Team to ensure Navy Bettystown becomes as much loved as the star of the sea, created by Denise Walsh.

"Initially our plan is to get to know the business, the customers and then make some changes to compliment this wonderful venue. Hope to see you there!”

The café will be open seven days a week and will have a focus on fresh, tasty food in a comfortable setting. The menu will cover breakfast, lunch and, of course, brunch. It will also serve fresh coffee daily to those enjoying a stroll along the beach or those looking to sit and relax a flat white or cappuccino with a fresh cake or scone.

The new café will be open from 9am on Thursday, 26th September at 5 Bayview, Bettystown. To keep up to date with the new café, you can follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
