Santa to visit Tullyallen on Tuesday

Santa and some of his friends - meet them in Tullyallen on Tuesday night.

Santa is of course the best man on earth and this time of the year he also the busiest. But, because the children in Tullyallen have been so good all year, he has promised to take some time out to attend the Tullyallen Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony next Tuesday evening.

The annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in Tullyallen Village Square is a much loved tradition for all in Tullyallen and especially for the young and the young at heart.

This year the ceremony will take place on Tuesday next, 11th December at the later time of 7.00 pm.

There will be carols by the children of Tullyallen School under the expert guidance of Niall Moonan and it is hoped there will be other other musical guests on the night as well.

“A family evening not to be missed” is how the Secretary of Tullyalllen Christmas Tree Committee sums up the annual event.

“We would ask that parents ensure that the children wear high visibility jackets if possible to ensure that all spectators remain safe during the entertainment.

“All are welcome so do come along and add your voice to the night.”
