On Monday next, May 21st, as part of the 10 Year Anniversary of Coláiste na hInse in Bettystown, the coastal school will host not one but two commemorative debates to celebrate the successes of the Coláiste’s debaters on the national stage.
The first, the Coláiste na hInse “Legacy Debate” will be chaired by RTE Star Ryan Tubridy and will see the Coláiste’s upcoming debaters, coached by senior debating champions, demonstrate their oratorical skills in front of a packed lunchtime audience in the school’s library.
The second debate, taking place at 7pm in the main foyer of the school (“An Grianan”) is the “10 Year Anniversary Public Debate.”
