Roslynn Doherty of The Financial Foundation.
Roslynn Doherty who runs The Financial Foundation, a mortgage restructuring company based in Laurence Street which has helped hundreds of families experiencing mortgage troubles to stay in their homes, has been awarded an All-Ireland Business award.
Her award, ‘The All-Star Thought Leader in Mortgage Restructuring Accreditation’ may be a bit of a mouthfull but, as one of the Business All-Star awards, it signifies that her company meets the highest standards of service and trust.
The accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Dr Hynes said the accreditation, is required by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors,” she said.
“We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience.
“The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
The All-Ireland Business Foundation is responsible for overseeing the All-Ireland Business Summit and All-Star awards, ongoing All-Star accreditation, Thought Leader awards and promoting peer dialogue among members.
Delighted with her achievement, Roslynn said she is “absolutely thrilled and honoured to have achieved not only a Business All Star Award but also to have been accredited as a Thought Leader in Mortgage Restructuring!”
“This will enhance the company profile and I am so proud that after many years of hard work that the Company has received such recognition.”
“Our team has been very busy over the last eight weeks working with the All-Ireland Business Foundation to achieve our Business All-Star Accreditation Certificate.
“This accreditation is an outstanding achievement and recognises the hard work and dedication of our team in providing a best in class service to all our customers.
“We set up to negotiate affordable, sustainable arrangements with financial institutions in order to keep indebted families in their homes. Many families have been struggling financially, physically and mentally with relentless threats of home repossession from their home-loan providers, creditors and vulture funds.
“Initially, the service provided was aimed at those in the local community in Drogheda, who were in urgent need of someone who could negotiate on their behalf to prevent the loss of their family home.
“However, within weeks of launching, we were contacted by people in distress from all over the country and has been operating nationwide. To date, we have kept hundreds of people in their family homes and look forward to helping many more.”
