Leading social care charity Praxis Care celebrated forty years of service on Wednesday with an 80’s themed disco at The Hub Day Service, transforming the area into a vibrant celebration.
Attendees of Praxis Care’s The Hub and Scarlet Street Disability Day Services came together for an 80’s disco with singing and dancing followed by buffet lunch and ice cream van visit.
The outdoor bash was decorated by the adults with disabilities who attend the services.
This event was just one in a series of 40 celebrations taking place this summer across Ireland, the UK and the Isle of Man to mark this significant anniversary.

Each event aims to bring together the local community and celebrate the remarkable achievements of Praxis Care over the past 40 years.
Praxis Care supports 1,500 children and adults with mental ill health, autism, intellectual disabilities and dementia, providing innovative, professional, high quality support services to people across the spectrum of need.
They have 2,000 employees and volunteers across the UK, Ireland and the Isle of Man. They celebrate 40 years as a registered charity in 2024.
The charity looks forward to continuing its mission and making a positive impact for many more years to come.
