October is #reuse month at Drogheda Cottage Market
The Drogheda Cottage Market will host over 30 Food and Craft stalls this Saturday selling everything from candles to Vegan cakes.
“We are striving to keep our market unique, local, sustainable and offering the customer something new each month” says organiser Eimear Cullen.
“This month we are delighted to push the sustainability ethos of our Market and to welcome newcomers.”
“As October is #reuse month and to support our ongoing efforts to be more sustainable market and push #I am a Reuser campaign, we plan to host a free cycle table cafe at the Cottage Market where traders donate bits and bobs that they ain't using anymore and wish to donate they could be another's treasure.”

“Fabrics, stickers, paper, bags, buttons off cuts etc will be free to take on the day. If interested in supporting our Cottage Market #reuse campaign, please donate on the day.
“We also are asking you to pledge in words what you plan to reuse this month. all who take part get a free raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning a coffee voucher from our friends in the Fabulous new coffee house, The Coffee Box.
“We are asking everyone who visits our wonderful Cottage Market this Saturday Oct 5th, if possible, to bring their own bags, containers, anything that will help to rid us of plastic in our market.
“With the help of our wonderful hosts, St. Peters COI Parish Hall, we already provide mugs for your tea and coffee. Every little bit helps and is a start in making our Cottage Market kinder to our environment and plans to become zero waste market
