It’s always good to hear of local companies doing well and so it is with local food producers Newgrange Fine Foods whose produce went on sale nationwide as part of the Lidl Kickstart programme which showcases Irish producers.
The week long promotion, which started yesterday Monday 2nd of September, will see the company's Potato Croquettes and four of their Fresh Soups available in all 140 of Lidl's stores nationwide.
The family owned company was founded by Drogheda locals Ronan Carr and Michael McAllister nearly 20 years ago, they now employ over 15 staff and they tell us they "also get a bit of help from sons, daughters, and friends!"
The company produces a wide range of award winning fresh soups, sauces, and potato products which are all handmade from locally sourced ingredients and packaged at their facility at Duleek Business Park.
