Louth Fire Service is rolling out two new state-of-the-art Peugeot Expert LWB support vehicles to be based at Drogheda and Dundalk Fire stations.
Louth County Council has announced the purchase of these vital new resources for the Louth Fire Service, which provide transport for fire crews and equipment for training and day to day operations, along with support at emergency incidents.
The versatile design of these vehicles allows for safe and efficient transport of personnel, while also carrying critical firefighting and rescue equipment. They can transport up to six operational personnel and have extractor systems ensuring clean air is circulated for crews on board.
The Peugeot Expert LWB are low-emissions vehicles running on hydrated vegetable oil (HVO), ensuring a positive contribution to Louth County Council’s Climate Change Plan.
