Former fashion buyer to open her own boutique at Southgate Shopping Centre

Next Thursday, October 11th, will be a big day for local woman Helen Dwyer and the culmination of many months of hard work when she opens the doors of her new boutique “My Generation” at Southgate Shopping Centre.

My Generation will be a welcome addition to the shopping experience for Drogheda’s style conscious women and fashionistas who will no doubt be eagerly awaiting the arrival of new clothing store.

Proprietor Helen Dwyer says she is looking forward to bringing the finest that the world of fashion has to offer to her customers in Drogheda.

“I really believe there is a certain confidence these days with Irish women that no matter what your age you can wear the best,” she says.

“Southgate is the perfect location for my first shop, with free parking, other exciting retail outlets and a great ambience – I couldn’t wish to find a better location.”

Helen’s confidence for the new business is borne out of many years of experience working in the retail sector. She was a former fashion buyer for Dunnes Stores and then a senior buyer for Tesco UK.

Her role at Tesco led to her being invited on to the panel of The Apprentice UK as well as appearing on The Craig Doyle Show.

Helen has spent the past six months sourcing some of the finest fashion wear from around the world.

Designers you can expect to see at My Generation include Kevan Jon, Laura Bernal and Carla Ruiz, as well as such brands as Forever Unique, Freddy Jeans, The Pretty Dress Company, Lace and Beads and Explosion London to name a few.

So if you are a dedicated follower of fashion looking for that unique style, My Generation is the place to go from Thursday onwards.
