‘New Year, New You’ was the title given to the first event of 2019 for Network Ireland Louth and the topic was the three F’s – Focus, Fitness and Food which took place last night at Seapoint Golf Club.
The presenters for the evening were Jacqui Taaffe of JT Coaching, Jane Kerr of Me Time Training and Matthias Ecker, Head Chef at Seapoint Golf Club.
The evening began with a welcome from Seapoint’s Lady Captain, Bernadette McGrane, followed by an introduction to the evening by Network Ireland Louth’s 2019 President, Carmel McCarthy.
The presentations started with Jacqui, from JT Coaching, and her recipe for RISE as a means of setting goals and moving forward with positivity and a clear vision of what we want to achieve.

Jane, from ME Time Training, followed with the story of her journey to fitness and how her passion for fitness and health motivates others to achieve their potential which, she says, we all have and is always 100%.
Matthias, Head Chef at Seapoint, demonstrated how to cook healthy food using local, and in season, produce. He cooked pan fried sea trout, on a bed of parsnip puree, finished off with a crispy kale and everyone then enjoyed a plate of this delicious fast food.
It was a positive start to 2019 with a “full house” in attendance and Network Louth is looking forward to a busy year with plenty of events that will be of interest to enterprising women.
