Strap on your anti-gravity boots and charge up your light sabres, Mini-Con is touching down at the Sluagh Hall at Crosslanes in Drogheda on Saturday 30th September.
Special guest for the event is Daniel Eghan who portrayed a Death Trooper in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He’ll be doing a live talk discussing Rogue One, The Batman, Ready Player One, Justice League and the many other movies he has worked on.
Steve Robb will also be present on the day to talk about prop making for film and TV. Rob has worked on props and set design on Bloodlands, Blue Lights and the upcoming Spielberg/Hanks mini-series Masters of the Air. He will have some of his props with him and will be available for discussion about his exciting career.
Scottish author Brona Mills will be discussing the creative processes and challenges behind writing her range of excellent time travel inspired books while Mini-Con resident artist Martin McCanney will be doing live sketches and displaying his range of completed artwork from previous Mini-Con events.

Outside, local graffiti artist Rask will be creating a sci-fi inspired mural which will become the backdrop for cosplayers from all your favourite franchises, from Star Wars to Anime. All levels of cosplayers are welcome with a prize for best costume on the day.
Vintage toys, comics and collectibles will be for sale at various tables as well as dedicated traders of Lego Mini-Figures and Pokemon cards, which always prove very popular across all age groups at Mini-Con events. Also watch out for the local illustrators, Japanese merch, American treats and delicious pizza by Nags with Notions.
