Love Drogheda BID has installed vibrant festival lamppost banners throughout the town centre as part of their ongoing commitment to enriching Drogheda’s public spaces and creating a festive atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
The new lamppost banners, which are currently advertising the Boyne Midsummer Festival which will take place in Drogheda from 21st to 23rd June, aim to enhance the overall appearance of the town centre.
These banners not only celebrate the current festival but also add a splash of colour and excitement to the streets, contributing to a lively and welcoming environment.
"We are thrilled to see the positive impact these banners are having on the town centre," said Trevor Connolly, CEO at Love Drogheda BID.

"The vibrant banners will not only celebrate our local culture and festivities but also create a visually appealing space that invites both residents and visitors to explore and enjoy the town.
“They will also add a town-branding element to our public spaces, providing a sense of pride in all Drogheda has to offer.”
As part of a dynamic approach to town enhancement, Love Drogheda BID plans to regularly update the lamppost banners to highlight upcoming events, heritage attractions, “Shop Local” messaging and seasonal celebrations.
This initiative ensures that the town centre remains fresh and visually stimulating, reflecting the ever-evolving spirit and activities.
Love Drogheda BID is committed to working closely with local organizations and authorities to continue enhancing the town centre, making it a vibrant hub of activity and enjoyment for everyone.
Further plans for the expansion of the lamppost banner project to include other streets and an upgrade of the heritage banners are already being investigated.
