Councillor Stephen McKee at the new pedestrian crossing at Rosevale.

Councillor Stephen McKee has been  told that work on the new pedestrian crossing lights on the Beamore Road will be carried out and the lights switched on next Wednesday, March 20th.

This will mark the completion of the works at the location according to McKee who lobbied hard for the crossing to be put in place.

'Road safety will improve for all local school children and residents in Rosevale, Avourween, Legavooren, Millmount Abbey and Ard Ri. Thanks to local residents for working with me to keep the pressure on to get this much-needed pedestrian crossing in place' concluded McKee.
