Volunteers on a previous beach clean up at Laytown, Bettystown & Mornington.
The Laytown Bettystown Mornington Beach Management Committee have organised a community beach clean up for this Saturday Morning.
Volunteers are asked to meet at 10.30 at the entrance to Bettystown Beach.
The group meets on the second Saturday of every month so why not join up with members of your community who enjoy our beach and who, together with family and friends want to keep it beautiful?
The clean up starts at 10:30 and runs until midday. If you have kids bring them, it's a great way for them to burn off excess energy and instils in them a ssense of rsponsibilty towards our local environment and the importance of keeping our surroundings clean and tidy.
