The Laytown/Bettystown Darkness Into Light Committee were delighted to launch the Meath County Darkness Into Light 2023 in Colaiste Na hInse, Bettystown recently.

On what turned out to be a horrendous night weatherwise, they were delighted to have Sinead and Nicola from Pieta along with Minister Thomas Byrne, Ged Nash TD, Cllr Sharon Tolan and local ambassador for DIL, actor Helen Behan among the guests.

Following on from a great first event in 2022 where over €28,600 was raised by people walking, running, swimming and kayaking, the hope is to emulate that success in 2023.
