Family Carers Ireland is issuing a final urgent appeal to family members and friends in Louth to nominate a deserving family carer for the Netwatch Family Carer of the Year Awards. The deadline has been extended to Monday, 14th October, providing one last chance to recognise the incredible dedication of family carers who support their loved ones day in, day out.
The Netwatch Family Carer of the Year Awards is a unique opportunity to celebrate the compassion, resilience, and commitment of family carers who often sacrifice their own needs to ensure the wellbeing of a loved one.
Now in its 17th year, this event honours the vital role of family carers across Ireland, while highlighting the urgent need for better recognition and support, particularly for those who provide care without help from the State.
Family Carers Ireland is encouraging everyone in Louth to nominate a family carer before the deadline on Monday, 14th October. The awards will culminate in a special ceremony on Thursday, 28th November at the College Green Hotel.
