Former Ireland, Leinster and Lions rugby star Johnny Sexton will be making a special appearance at the MACE store at Wheaton Hall, Drogheda on Friday, May 23, to help celebrate the store’s 10 Year Anniversary.

Retailer Jewel Akber is also inviting the local community to celebrate their special anniversary and recent refurbishment at a special celebratory event on Friday May 23^rd.   

This store has been upgraded to include a fabulous self-service deli, Acai Bar, Insomnia coffee station, I Scream ice-cream counter, delicious freshly baked breads and cakes, the MACE Right Options Range and a full off-licence.  

The event is to take place from 10am-2pm and there will be plenty to keep people entertained with iRadio broadcasting live from the store from 10.30-1.30pm, face painting, balloon modelling, food and wine tastings throughout the day and goodie bags. 

The guest of honour will be Johnny Sexton, with the Irish sporting hero joining the festivities for a meet and greet with customers from 11.30am-12pm, an opportunity not to be missed!  

Store owner Jewel runs 10 MACE stores in the East of the country and said, “Wheaton Hall was my first store to open way back in 2015 marking the 10^th anniversary this year and my 10^th year in the business, so it has a special place in my heart. Opening hours of the store are 7am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 8am – 10pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
