They say that an incoming tide floats all boats and one canny charity shop in Drogheda is hoping that the incoming tide of visitors for the Fleadh will give them a welcome boost in business.
The Irish Cancer Society’s charity shop in Drogheda is going all musical next week, as the town prepares to host hundreds of musicians as part of Fleadh Ceoil na hÉireann.
The Shop Street store will have a special sale of musical instruments on August 16 with a number of special items up for grabs.
These special deals include a 1950’s Paolo Soprani 4-Voice Button Accordion C/D and a Paolo Soprani 4-Voice 9 coupler B/C.

There are also a range of electric and acoustic guitars, ukuleles, violins, bodhrans and more available to purchase, with all money raised helping to fund the work of the Irish Cancer Society.
