PEACEPLUS is a new European Union funding programme designed to support peace and prosperity across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland, building upon the work of the previous PEACE and INTERREG Programmes.
The programme recognises the importance of peace-building activity, but also of actions that contribute positively to the economy, building prosperity and adjusting to the new environment and challenges we face.
This project will be funded by the European Union’s PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
County Louth has been given an indicative allocation of €4.6 million for its action plan 2021-2027. A Louth PEACEPLUS Partnership has been established to help design the new action plan. As part of this design process, the PEACEPLUS Partnership wants to hear your views on how this resource should be spent in Louth.
