Gardaí won another battle in the ongoing war against drugs last night, 12th May 2019, when they searched a house and found drugs in the Hill View area of Drogheda as part of Operation Stratus.
During the course of the search Gardaí recovered cocaine with an estimated street value of €20k along with cannabis herb valued at €22k (analysis pending).
Other paraphernalia including weighing equipment and documentation was also seized.

During a follow up operation a man aged his late teens was arrested in the Drogheda area. He is currently detained for questioning under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Drogheda Garda Station and can be held for up to 24 hours.
Investigations are ongoing and further updates will follow.
