Front Page

Eshika Eva Paul (age 7), from The Arthouse in Drogheda won a Special Merit Award in last year’s Texaco Children’s Art Competition for this painting entitled ‘Mother And Baby Deer’.

Drogheda and County Louth in general has a proud record of success in the national institution that is the Texaco Children's Art Competition and this year enthusiastic young artists have at least had plenty of time to practice their art.

This year marks the 67th year of the competition making it the longest running arts sponsorship in Ireland.

The organisers are now inviting young artists across the country to submit their entries for the 2021 competition and the closing date is Wednesday, 24th March 2021.

Each entrant is required to complete an Application Form for each entry that they submit to the Competition.

School or art school entry forms are available to download by clicking HERE

Individual or home application forms are available HERE

Remember, the closing date for entries is Wednesday, 24th March. Judging will take place in April with winners to be announced in May.

Details are available through Texaco service stations and online at  www.texacochildrensart.com

Best of luck everyone and enjoy your art work, that's what its all about!
