In anticipation of National Services Day, the organisers are hosting an 'Emergency Services Display Day' this Saturday, July 27th, at Scotch Hall Shopping Centre from 10am to 4pm.
Building on the overwhelming success of last September's inaugural National Services Day in Drogheda, preparations for the 2024 event are in full swing.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 14th, when this year's celebration promises to be bigger and better, featuring services from Louth, Meath, Monaghan, and Cavan.
The event will include a vibrant street parade, a National Services Day village, and a plethora of family entertainment on both sides of the River Boyne. This is a prime opportunity to honour the heroic contributions of our frontline and emergency services who tirelessly support and protect our community every day.

The event will boast numerous exhibition stands, vehicle displays, live demonstrations, colouring competitions, face painting, photo opportunities, and much more. A special sensory hour is scheduled from 11am to 12pm.
Gavan Duff, Chairperson of National Services Day and Unit Officer of the Drogheda Red Cross, expressed his gratitude to Scotch Hall for their support and looks forward to a fun-filled event for all families. “This is a fantastic opportunity to meet our local heroes who dedicate their lives to making our communities safer,” he said.
