VTOS learners who completed VTOS QQI courses are pictured with LMETB teachers and staff after receiving their certificates.
Learners, along with their families, friends, and staff from the Louth and Meath Education and Training Board’s (LMETB) VTOS Drogheda programme, gathered at the FET Centre on King Street, Drogheda recently, to celebrate their accomplishments over the past year.
Certificates of attendance were awarded to learners from various QQI courses, including Improve Your English and Get Job Ready, Employment Skills with IT, and Office Ready Employment Skills.
Some learners plan to return to the centre in autumn 2024 to begin their second year on the VTOS programme. Others have applied to further education and training programmes, while some have successfully secured employment.
VTOS is a free, full-time education programme for adults over 21 years of age, who are in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment.
