Michael Fitzsimons, Mayor of Drogheda Councillor James Byrne and Margaret Comerford at the Lions Club Bingo.
Drogheda Lions Club held their first Rock & Roll Bingo Event on Sunday afternoon with afternoon tea and nibbles for the participants to mark the end of Positive Aging week.
The occasion, which was a great success, took place in the garden room of Odd Mollies where the wonderful staff pulled out all the stops to make it a most enjoyable afternoon.
The weather was kind for October, with a fair share of Autumnal sunshine; of course, the blankets and outdoor heaters at Odd Mollies helped!!
During the afternoon Mayor James Byrne, Deputy Mayor Declan Power, TD Ged Nash, and Councilor Michelle Hall all popped in for a coffee and chat with the guests.

Drogheda Lions would like to extend their thanks to all of whom made the afternoon possible with their generous sponsorship of the event. We are very grateful for their long association with us and their continued support.
Star of the show was our young Lion Mark, who busied himself all afternoon chatting to the guests and awarding the prizes.
