'A Night to Remember'- Drogheda's 30 Year Commitment to the Children of Chernobyl' charity was celebrated at a concert on Saturday night in the Droichead Arts Centre and it was a brilliant success supported by the Community & Inclusion committee of Drogheda & District Chamber.

This special occasion marked the significant contribution made by the people of Drogheda over three decades to helping the Chernobyl cause.

It was also a celebration of one special local lady, Isobel Sanroma, who has been leading the charge and continues to raise funds for Chernobyl Children International.

Isobel celebrates a milestone birthday later this month and this was acknowledged with a beautiful surprise rendition of 'Happy Birthday' by her grand-nephew, the tenor Seán Tester, who also headlined the night alongside an incredible list of internationally renowned artists.

On behalf of Drogheda & District Chamber, we wish Isobel best wishes for continued success as she continues her work.
