Pale Blue Moon

Drogheda goth rockers Pale Blue Moon have entered the Album Rock Charts at number one today with our debut album ‘The Pleasure of Finding Things Out’ which was first released last year.

Promoting the album was delayed by the fact that frontman Shane Kelly suffered a stroke, which left him hospitalised for four months. Otherwise healthy, this was a huge blow and shock to Shane and the band as they were set to release and promote their debut album.

However, Shane was determined to continue and while still hospitalised and going through rehab, continued to finish mixing the album from his hospital bed, via Skype with their producer in New York.

Thankfully Shane made a full recovery and

Now things are looking good for the band and bookings are coming in all the time for live gigs and their video below has received over 100k views on YouTube in just two weeks.

The members of Pale Blue Moon are:

  • Shane Kelly - Vocals
  • Mark Kirwan - Bass Guitar
  • Jack Murphy - Guitars
  • Griff (Brian Griffin) – Drums

Previously they toured with Shane MacGowan and the Popes, touring extensively across Ireland, the UK, Scandinavia and the USA.
