Short films made last year by Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) students on year three of their BA (Hons) in Film and Television Production course are to be screened before national and international feature films as part of Droichead Arts Centre’s Film Club programme this Autumn.
The DkIT Student’s films will screen as follows:
October 10 - Who's Next?
October 17 - One Moment
October 24 - Mousetrap
November 14 - The Forgotten Griever
These films are being screened as part of an ongoing collaboration between the Department of Creative Arts, Media and Music and Droichead Arts Centre following successful screenings as part of last year's Film Club programme.

Collette Farrell, Director of Droichead Arts Centre said: “Droichead Arts Centre are once again delighted to partner with the DKIT Film and TV Production Programme and showcase short films produced by students as part of our Autumn Film Club. Arts and artists are at the heart of what we do, and this initiative supports emerging film makers by showcasing student films”.
Programme Director of the BA (Hons) in Film and Television Production, Sarah McCann added; “These screenings in Drogheda offer a great opportunity to our students to share their films with a local audience and we would like to express our gratitude to Collette for her ongoing support of our film & TV students and their work”.
