The Drogheda Lions Club prides itself on being at the heart of the community and one of their favourite events each year is their Tea Dance for senior citizens during Positive Ageing Week.
The 2019 Tea Dance is the seventh and will take place from 3.00pm on Sunday afternoon, 29th September in the Westcourt Hotel. As in previous years, admission is free and open to all local senior citizens but admission is by invitation only.
The tea dance is eagerly anticipated each year and is always booked out very quickly.
Anyone interested in having a fun afternoon with good,old fashioned dancing and chat over tea and delicious confectionery should contact their local senior citizens group or any Lions Club member to register for tickets.

A Mass honouring Senior Citizens will be held on the same day at 1.15pm in the Augustinian Church, Shop Street, Drogheda.
