Peter Fitzpatrick has made a surge and is now ahead of Ged Nash in the race for the third seat in Louth /East Meath.
This follows the distribution of the 1,301 votes of the two eliminated candidates Eamon Sweeney and Cathal Ó Murchú.
Fitzpatrick is now on 7,571 votes having received 615 of the transfers. Nash on the other hand got 217 transfers leaving him with 7,190 while Fergus O’Dowd is on 6,936 and Mark Dearey is on 6,680.
Fianna Fáil TD Declan Breathnach is slipping back and is currently on 6,124.

James Byrne (FF) 4,325
Audrey Fergus (SPBP) 3,028 – eliminated.
