Irish Water is currently carrying out essential repairs to a burst watermain which is affecting consumers in Main Street, Baltray and surrounding areas.
There may be low pressure and/or outages for short periods today, Monday 18 May, until 8:00pm but, Irish Water is stressing that it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
It may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers.
Irish Water and Louth County Council understands the inconvenience caused when emergency works occur and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential repairs and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Louth County Council regret any inconvenience caused.
